5 stars — I loved this book! If there were issues they were small and ultimately inconsequential to my becoming a total fangirl over it. More than likely I will be spending all my money on related merchandise and singing its praises to anyone who will listen.
4 stars — I really liked this book, but there were things that kept me from fully immersing myself, or elements I found problematic enough to distract me from the story.
3 stars — I saw real potential here, but whatever issues I had prevented me from truly enjoying the book on a higher level.
2 stars — I did not like this book, and found little to recommend it.
1 star — This rating I mostly reserve for books I did not finish, but there is the rare book that I absolutely hate and about which I have nothing nice to say.
